We were sitting around chatting the other day about career changes. Of course, a lot of people wanted to work from home and make money. Then we got to talking about celebrities and the kinds of jobs we thought they would go after if their acting or music careers ended. It wasn't long before I mentioned Josiah Leming.

Josiah seems like the kind of person who could do a lot of things well. I could see Josiah Leming starting an online business to make money online while he worked at other things, or, as a full time business. I think this kid has the ability to do several things at once and do them well.

I could also see Josiah Leming as a Marketing specialist. He certainly did market his name during the short time he was on American Idol. I'm sure he's learned a lot more by now. He probably has some really good insight to start-up Marketing that would help a lot of other people, especially beginners in the music industry.

Well, we all know that Josiah Leming use to live out of his car traveling around the Country from gig to gig. He didn't really go into detail about what all he took with him or any tips when traveling from one place to another. Josiah Leming On Wrong Side of American Idol

Josiah Leming captured America's hearts and minds last year when he told American Idol viewers about his story.

He lived out of his car traveling around and doing any gig he could find. Many times playing on a street corner for spare change. His Mom has been diagnosed with Cancer and the outlook isn't good.

Most everyone agrees that Josiah's song writing is much better than his singing. But a lot of American Idol viewers thought that his singing was much better than many who made the final 24 cut.

Sadly, Josiah Leming came in at #25 and did not go on.

But as fate would have it, his fortune seemed to change. He was one of only 4 contestants get get a recording deal.

Now here lies the problem. Josia Leming signed with another record label other than Simon Cowes. Josia was suppose to release a new album at the end of the year. His hope was that his Mother would be able to see her Son get a album.

This looked like it was going to happen. However Simon and his attorney's have stepped in and blocked the release of the Album.

You see, when you sign up to be a contestant on American Idol, you're basically signing away all your rights. If you go on to record an album, it must be with Simon's record label. Josiah went around that and found a company...or should I say a recording compnay found Josiah Leming!

This will all have to be played out in the Courts now. Hopefully a decision will come before things get worse for Josiah's Mother. If Simon really wants to play the part of the "bad boy", then he's certainly making his point here.

But of course, Josiah Leming did sign the agreement. That has to carry some weight and I woiuld be surprised if the Courts didn't uphold it. Common sense would lead you to believe that Simon would just take a share of what Josiah's album brought in. I'm sure an agreement could be reached as long as neither party got greedy.

But how often does that happen in the Entertainment World?

Everyone's wondering what Josiah Leming is dong these days since he was botted off of the American Idol competition.

People with a strong will to succeed like Josiah Leming can't be kept down for long. One thing Josiah Leming has going for him, besides being talented and gifted, is his young age. As long as he can control his confidence, which will come with age, I'm going to say that we'll be seeing a lot more of this Josiah Leming.

You just can't keep people like him down. They have this burning desire to succeed and nothing will stop them.

I mean, how many 18 year old kids have the gumption to go out ont he road and live out of their car in a different town every night like Josiah Leming? Hell, most 18 year olds don't want to leave the site of their home, let alone take off by their self across the country.

Yeah, mark my words, we have not seen the last from Josiah Leming. This kid doens't need American Idol. Josiah Leming will make his own success and wont be bound by no American Idol contract. I'm betting that the people at American Idol will be regretting that they passed on this talented you man.

Josiah Leming, the promising young performer who auditioned for American Idol failed to make the Top 24. Not only was many American Idol faithful viewers shocked, but Josiah Leming his self was shocked.

What Happened to Josiah Leming

Josiah Leming's downfall may have been his over confidence. Josiah's Hollywood performance wasn't near as good as his first audition. Many thought he was just going through the motions because he thought he was a shoe in for the American Idol top 24.

Where will Josiah Leming go from here?

No one knows but one things is for sure, Josiah Leming probably doesn't need American Idol to become successful. Josiah can play any number of instruments as well as sing and write songs.

His ability to write songs will probably be just the thing to bring him up out of living in his car. The song he sang at his first audition was one he had wrote for his self. It was so good that Simon and the rest of the American Idol judges were floored.

Josiah Leming is a contestant on season 7 of the American Idol. Josiah had a very good audition in front of Paula, Randy and Simon. Josiah Leming sang one of his own songs to wow the judges into giving him a pass to Hollywood.

The judges were amazed that this 18 year old kid livng out of his car from Morristown Tennessee sang with a British accent.

Josiah Leming said in his American Idol interview that he travels around the country doing odd shows here and there. He plays a number of instruments, including guitar and keyboard.

How far can Josiah Leming go in the American Idol contest? Who knows, but one thing is for sure, Josiah Leming can sing plus he has the talent to write his own songs. Even if he doesn't make the final 24 cut, he's off to a good start.

It's these kinds of hard luck stories that America love. Apparently American Idol loves them also. Look for Josiah Leming on American Idol in the upcoming weeks.
